The only problem is Calgary has so many exciting events going on, it will be hard to see and do everything you want to.

Take a look!

Hit Up Heritage Park

The grand opening of Heritage Park happens over the long weekend. The history of Canada comes alive for families as they tour the village by wagon or train. Parents and kids can enjoy the rides on the Antique midway, visit the Gasoline Alley Museum, then stop for a delicious bite to eat in the Selkirk Grille. Don’t forget to pick up a keepsake from one of the quaint shops at Haskayne Mercantile Block.

Don't Pass on Pandas

Spend a lovely day at the Calgary Zoo to admire all the giraffes, penguins, tigers, gorillas, lemurs, and other animals in their vast collection. After touring the exhibits, take a ride on the zoo’s mini express train and hop onto the Wildlife Carousel. Don’t forget to stop for a meal in Penguin café!

On May 7th, a new panda bear exhibit will open at the zoo. Visit Er Shun, Dao Mao and their cubs during their stay in Panda Passage. Learn about these beautiful, exotic bears and see them interact right in front of your eyes!

It’s mini golf with a twist! Make your way through a glow in the dark mini golf course with characters, music, and plenty of surprises at Monster Mini Golf.

Catch a Movie

Take a break from the exciting activities of the long weekend and see a movie at Landmark Cinemas. Sit back in a leather recliner and enjoy a new release starring your favourite actors. Be sure to take advantage of the convenience of buying your tickets ahead of time online.
